Amelia County Emergency Services Committee

Amelia The Amelia County Emergency Services Committee is chaired by the Department of Emergency Management.  The Committee contains representation from the Amelia County Sheriff’s Office, Amelia Emergency Squad, Amelia County Volunteer Fire Department, Amelia County Administration, and Amelia County Board of Supervisors.

The purpose of this Committee is to discuss emergency services issues of importance to all agencies.  This Committee develops and maintains interagency procedures used by all of the emergency services agencies of Amelia County.  These procedures are designed to provide response guidance and coordination of all agencies.

The Committee meets on a regular quarterly schedule, with other called meetings as necessary.
